Previous Projects

  • Twin Rivers Pipeline - 12", 4,200E3 m3/d

Lanmark provided engineering, design, regulatory, and procurement services for the construction of a 12″ OD natural gas pipeline installation in the Pembina and Brazeau River areas of Alberta. To achieve cost savings, Lanmark also led the installation of a partial 12″ OD natural gas gathering line that shared the same trench.

    Project details:

    • 18.9 km, 12″ mainline pipeline

    • 3.0 km, 12″ gathering pipeline

    • Intermediate Camelback risers with provisions for future launcher/ receivers

    • Cathodic protection test stations

  • Acid Gas Pipeline Debottleneck - 8", 2,350E3 m3/d, 9,930 kPag, 20% H2S

This project involved doubling the capacity of a Foothills sour gas system through the effective utilization of hydraulic modeling and process engineering.

Lanmark completed project management, mechanical design, civil design, and materials sourcing for the project.

    Project details:

    • 16 km of 8” OD sour gas pipeline and 32 km of 3” glycol subsurface heat trace pipeline loop (design temperature 60 °C)

    • Retrofit of three (3) compressors and relocation of gas blending facilities

    • Designed and strategically installed line heaters along the pipeline route

  • Express Multi-line Pipeline - 16", 8", 8", 4"

Lanmark provided project management, engineering, design, regulatory, and procurement services for the construction of a mult-line pipeline installation. The pipelines were used to transport 111 MM scfd of gas and 1,000 bbl/day of condensate.

    Project details:

    • A major crossing of the North Saskatchewan River with a bore length of 2.4 km; one of the longest river crossings in Western Canada

    • 16” Sales Gas pipeline

    • 8” Fuel Gas pipeline

    • 8” Gas Gathering pipeline

    • 4” Condensate pipeline
